Alex Smith
Alex’s design process is underpinned and influenced by sketching and visualisation skills, as well as an interest in architectural photography. He prefers to focus on the development of a scheme’s pre-planning stage through to the tender and construction stage. He has experience with both residential and commercial projects and is aided by a robust knowledge with a variety of design software.
Alex has been a key team member for several projects, such as John Lewis’s new department store within Oxford Westgate and Catford Green’s Blocks T&U for Barratt London. Alex was the project lead for 180 Ilderton Road’s Grove Crescent Road’s successful planning applications, and he has also worked on Water Pavilions at Canary Wharf.
He completed his Part I and Part II qualifications at Portsmouth University and undertook his Part III at London South Bank University.
