Sandeep Shambi
In his career at Howells, Sandeep’s work has focused on thoughtful interventions and the delivery of high-quality buildings and masterplans which have the potential to enrich lives and create jobs.
Sandeep oversees design studios in Birmingham, with his projects predominately located in the West Midlands and the North West. He works closely with clients and developers to deliver projects that comprehensively redevelop underused but significant city centre sites and his recent commercial projects include 125 Deansgate in Manchester, Hythe at Wirral Waters and i9 Wolverhampton.
He is currently leading on Typhoo Wharf masterplan and the new home for BBC Birmingham, a new urban quarter, Warners Fields, in Digbeth which seeks to open up the River Rea for the first time in over a century and on several BtR and PBSA projects such as Kent Street Baths, Goods Yard in Stoke-on-Trent and Battersea Park Road in Wandsworth.
Outside of Howells, Sandeep is a jury member for RIBA East Midlands, has been a visiting tutor at various universities and is an active member of the British Council of Offices.
