Will Poole
Will oversees the London design studio and sits on our internal Design Review Panel and Strategic Board. He works closely with our sustainability and urban design teams to develop our approach to designing net-zero places and buildings.
Will has delivered several large-scale, complex residential-led projects, collaborating with diverse, multidisciplinary design teams. Often located on waterside sites, these have included Wardian London on the Isle of Dogs, Blackwall Yard in Tower Hamlets, and the Brunel Building at Brentford Waterside.
Will is currently leading an arts-led, mixed-use scheme in Hertfordshire, a retrofit workspace in Camden and a 14-hectare masterplan in eastern Europe.
Will joined us as a Senior Architect in 2007, after dividing his architectural education between Portsmouth and Vienna. He joined the board as a Director in 2016 and was made a Partner in 2020. Outside of Howells, he is a member of the Architecture Club and New London Architecture, where he was a member of the Tall Buildings Panel in 2021/22.
