Grayson Place, Nuneaton

Grayson Place will create a vibrant new cultural and leisure destination for Nuneaton. Brought forward as part of the Transforming Nuneaton initiative, the project will realise the council’s ambition to breathe life into the town centre throughout the day and into the night.

Our proposals will reinvent the site from an existing surface car park and service yard into a thriving mixed-use destination. Anchored by a new food hall and cinema, the project will provide new homes, leisure, education and workspace opportunities, including North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College’s brand-new Digital Skills and Innovation Centre, arranged around a new public square. Additional spaces are dedicated to arts and culture and will support the council’s aspiration of creating a new cultural hub, animating the area.

Looking at the urban characteristics of Nuneaton and the council’s vision for a walkable town centre, our design reintegrates existing buildings that contribute positively to the town’s historic character and provides a series of new landscaped pedestrian and cycle connections between Abbey Street and Queen’s Road.
