Mill Harbour
An urban village on the doorstep of Canary Wharf, this project is a rich, layered community of 1,600 homes that will create a cultural and well-being destination which blurs the edges of public and private life.
Cultural and educational institutions, including a theatre and two new schools, will sit at the heart of the masterplan, alongside a new park, community square, and a network of well-being spaces.
The design of the six residential towers evokes a sense of light sculpture on solid plinths. Human-scale masonry podiums will encourage interaction with the public realm, and internally, foyers will become spaces for working and socialising, not just areas for transit.
At Mill Harbour, every apartment enjoys outdoor space. Balconies act as a green infrastructure feature that provides shading and texture to the façades while also helping to temper the microclimatic conditions.
